Sharjah Calligraphy Biennal. 10th edition "Elevation"

In any art competition, awards play an important role in advancing creativity. In addition to being of a financial value, they constitute a moral incentive, which is probably the most important of all. In Sharjah Calligraphy Biennal, the value of the competitions is enhanced by the great importance that the Biennal enjoys, specially since it comes under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Gasimi, Member of the Federal Supreme Council - Ruler of Sharjah.

The jury of the current session of the Sharjah Calligraphy Biennal consists of Khalid Al Jallaf from UAE a head juror, alongside jury members Mahfood Dhannon Al Amin from Iraq, Mohammed Boussouni from Morocco, Mohammed Alajlan From Saudi Arabia, and Muhammad Al Houri from Syrian Arab Republic.
